Flatland: A Collision of Architectures, 2011
Back in the gallery, I placed the photo construction of the entire realm of vision in the gallery, at the same point from which I took the photographs in the desert.
By placing a small light bulb in the very center of the sculpture, I projected the images of the homestead onto the walls of the gallery. I traced the shapes of the 6 windows as they hit the walls. I stretched linen into those shapes and made oil paintings of each window. (See "Flatland" in the 'Painting' section.)
